Caught up with this Snowy Owl north east of Calgary. As usual she was sitting on the top of a power pole.
While I crouching on the river bank looking at ducks this Magpie decided he would come over and check out what I was up to. I think I turned out to be a major disappointment as he soon headed off on his rounds.
Birds, like people, sometimes get a little shy around a camera.
